Breaking news, and a big win for fans of Airsoft/Milsim in Texas.  Lionclaws series is bringing Operation Irene to Texas!  John Lu of Best of USA Marketing and front runner of the Operation Lion Claws Military Simulation Series will be bringing a long time Airsoft favorite Operation IRENE, a Milsim series dedicated to the events of ‘Black Hawk Down’ to Fort Hood, Texas.  This news was announced last night on OLCMSS’s facebook page.

Col. McKnight was also confirmed as being one of the official commanders for the large national event.

Fort Hood, Texas at the TA50 MOUT facilities are no stranger to Airsoft and Milsim players, having graciously hosted events dating as far back as 2006.  They offer 3 outstanding different ‘fake’ cities for players to explore, and engage in simulated combat.  One of these cities are recently built and offer several new facets to the game that many players might not be entirely used too.  Attendance at an op in Fort Hood is certainty a great treat.  3 to 4 story tall buildings, underground sewers, low to zero visible light buildings, bombed out vehicles, sniper perches, rooftop access, and everything else you might see in a Tom Clancy video game.
